Terms of Use
Effective date: 16 July 2026
Licence relationship
Use of GLOBEL Evidence Stamp is also governed by the separate Software Licence. These Terms of Use explain operational limitations, user responsibilities, warranties and liability; the Software Licence explains the rights granted to users and the restrictions on copying, modification and redistribution.
Purpose
GLOBEL Evidence Stamp is supplied as a general-purpose utility for placing visible page and local-time information on a webpage for capture by the user.
No independent verification
The extension uses information available locally in the browser and on the device. It does not independently authenticate the webpage, verify the identity of its publisher, certify the correctness of the device clock, create a trusted timestamp or guarantee the legal admissibility of a resulting image.
User responsibility
The user is responsible for deciding whether the extension and any resulting capture are suitable for a particular purpose, for preserving original files and contextual evidence, and for complying with applicable laws, court rules, contractual duties and the rights of other people.
Availability and changes
GLOBEL may correct, update, replace or withdraw the extension or its supporting services. Browser changes may occasionally affect compatibility.
No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the extension is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every evidential, legal, professional or technical purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Acceptable use
The extension must not be represented as providing independent certification or used in a deceptive manner. GLOBEL branding must not be used to imply approval of altered, counterfeit or third-party builds.
Official distribution
Authentic releases are distributed through globel.co.uk and approved browser stores. GLOBEL is not responsible for altered copies obtained from unrelated download sites.
